40's vintage horsehair lace tilt hat, we added a goldtone and steel ornament and a wide black satin ribbon. Hat has an elastic band to hold it onto the back of the head. This homemade hat may have been remade from an Edwardian horsehair widebrim, as was common during the second world war's "remake and make do" mentality.

Teens style hat modeled after a 1914 fashion plate. Cream wool hat in bell cloche toque shape with turned back brim, coral-pink taffeta ribbon, a gorgeous vintage beaded ornament in shades of pink, purple, and orange, and two shaped and dyed "Mephisto feathers". This would be spectacular with a Poiret-style gown in harmonizing shades.
